Annmarie Scanlan BSc (PT)

Annmarie Scanlan grew up in Victoria and has been a physiotherapist for 25 years. She earned her physiotherapy degree at the University of British Columbia in 1994 and completed a residency in Advanced Manual Orthopaedic Physiotherapy in 1999 in San Francisco, California.
Since then, Annmarie’s work experience has included treating patients in acute care and rehabilitation settings, orthopaedic outpatient clinics and in-home physiotherapy. She has worked with patients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions, such as hip, shoulder, back, neck pain / injuries, as well as neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinsons, spinal cord injuries.
Annmarie is trained in providing IMS (Intra Muscular Stimulation), which has been particularly helpful for patients with chronic shortening of muscles. Most recently, she has completed training in treatment of dizziness and vertigo.
